Martinšćica
Martinšćica is located 28 km from Cres, on the western coast of the island, in a wide bay of gentle hills, natural advantages, primarily the beautiful beaches which surround it, once a place of fishermen, but today more tourist-oriented development. Place, and the whole bay were named after the medieval church of St. Martin located above the sea waves. Church and Franciscan monastery, built in the 16th century make up the historical center of Martinšćica. In Martinšćica are available rooms I and II category, and apartments and houses for rent in our private renters. Besides the private houses in Slatina Bay, NW of the city, there is a camp of the same name with the modern pitches and the possibility of the extremely comfortable mobile homes. Today in Martinšćica are several taverns, a post office, ice cream shop, grocery shop, travel agency and in the summer working and travel clinic. In the harbor you can rent a bond, and crane and slipway for boats.
